About this position
What you'll do
- Provide technical and commercial support to customers, with a primary focus on Southern Germany
- Manage customer projects and identify optimization opportunities through our adhesive systems and coatings within customers’ lamination and coating processes
- Deliver strong process and application engineering support while identifying new adhesive and coating applications at customer sites
- Plan, conduct, and follow up on production trials to support the introduction of new products and technologies
- Collaborate closely with Technical Customer Service and Product Development teams
- Prepare and create commercial proposals and quotations
- Develop and strengthen customer relationships across all organizational levels
- Demonstrate a high degree of self-organization and execution capability, developing strategic customer approaches while applying strong entrepreneurial thinking and decision-making.
What makes you a good fit
- Master of Arts degree with a strong technical understanding, Master of Science degree with a strong interest in commercial and business-related topics, or a comparable qualification combined with extensive experience in the technical sales of complex, consultative products
- At least 5 years of professional experience in the packaging, printing, and laminating industries is considered an advantage
- Solid technical knowledge of adhesive and/or coating technologies is highly desirable
- Structured, independent, and responsible working style
- High willingness to travel (field sales role) with residency in or willingness to relocate to Bavaria (Allgäu region) or Baden-Württemberg
- Fluent German and very good English skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and a strong team-oriented mindset
