About this Position
As a Project Engineer, you'll play a key part in delivering engineering projects across the region, ensuring they are aligned with safety standards and business goals. What you´ll do
- Working as part of the engineering team to ensure the smooth development & handover of systems from conception to commissioning and into sustaining operations.
- Preparing URS, scoping information for key discipline projects.
- Coordination of cross functional SME’s and engineering design consultants in project design phase, design risk and HAZOP assessments.
- Preparing and managing project schedules, CAPEX budgets.
- Project coordination, interfacing, and directing contractors during implementation
- Project management, safely managing and directing contractors during construction phase.
- Commissioning, ramp up and hand-over to operations.

What makes you a good fit
- A degree in Chemistry, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- 3–5 years of experience in within the chemical, food and beverages industrial sectors
- Strong mechanical and electrical background.
- Handled scheduling, budgeting, risk mitigation, and scope development as a Project Engineer.
- P&ID development activities, HAZOP/SIL reviews and supporting cost estimate activities.
- Control of contractors during installation.
