We are looking for an experienced Payroll Officer based in Brussels to join our HR Benelux team. You will be responsible for the payroll process within HR Operations BNL in Belgium (2 legal entities, 3 sites), liaising with key partners including the HR Business Partners, Finance (accounting & controlling).



 YOUR SKILLS

   
  • Accurately and timely process all elements related to the monthly payroll (blue and white collars) and this in collaboration with our payroll provider Acerta.
  • Responsible for the timely and accurate payment of net salaries, and related benefits (meal vouchers, company cars, insurances etc)
  • Processing of social documents and associated administration 
  • Managing the interface between the holiday system, time registration system and payroll system
  • Management of year-end processing and other statutory filings as they relate to payroll & payroll taxes
  • Liaise with HR Shared Services and HR Business Partners to obtain monthly updates for payroll in a timely manner 
  • Point of contact for any question about the specific HR demands of the employees
  • Follow the internal defined processes on a compliant manner 
  • Understanding of GL reporting and in collaboration with Finance with regards to queries and reconciliations

YOUR SKILLS  

  • Minimum Bachelor degree in Payroll or Accounting
  • Minimum 3 years experience in payroll processing, preferably in an international global company
  • Fluent in written and spoken Dutch and French with a good knowledge of English
  • Strong analytical skills, results & problem solving oriented
  • Very good knowledge of social legislation, payroll rules and regulations
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • Eager to learn and always looking for optimisation
  • Experience with SAP, and payroll system Acerta Connect or L4 is a plus
  • Stress resistant
  • Communication is key and social skills very important
