YOUR ROLE
- Responsible for microbiological testing of raw materials and finished goods.
- Responsible for reading plates and gram staining.
- Recording results and data into appropriate locations (SAP, MS Excel, etc.).
- Manage micro lab inventory.
- Reporting of issues and out of spec results to Plant Hygiene Manager and/or Quality Manager.
YOUR SKILLS
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Post-secondary degree preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in science field preferred / College coursework in chemistry is highly preferred.
- Skilled in use of PC software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience with SAP, relevant ISO standards, and/or auditing preferred.
- Ability to work on multiple projects and priorities.
The salary for this role is $18.00 - $22.00 hourly. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
