YOUR ROLE

  • Grow and profitably maintain Henkel's General Industrial Adhesive Technologies business in the SC territory with existing sales base of $4.0 million.
  • Prospect for new industrial business opportunities while managing existing customer base. 
  • Work through the sales process to identify, quantify, and justify the appropriate value proposition for the individual customer matching their needs with our capabilities to provide a solution. 
  • Motivate and train authorized industrial distributors to sell LOCTITE brand products and solutions
  • Present formal group training/selling sessions to industrial customers on LOCTITE brand technologies.
  • Implement territory management and growth plans that align with the overall strategic directives of the business.
  • Utilize Henkel's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools to manage the sales and customer engagement processes.
  • Overnight travel up to 20% required.

YOUR SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Must have strong mechanical aptitude.
  • 3 to 5 years’ experience in industrial sales.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Experience calling on or selling through industrial distribution is also desired.
  • Previous experience in group presentations and/or conducting group training sessions, preferred.
  • Team player, motivated and driven to succeed.
  • Proven time and territory management skills.
  • Strong skills in Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and video conferencing programs required
  • Experience using CRM and digital social media preferred.
