The local logistics team is in charge of warehouse and distribution related activities for the plant in Westerlo. While it constantly strives for efficiency gains, quality and customer satisfaction remain top priorities. The team identifies improvement potential and drives their implementation in close collaboration with other departments.

What we offer

  • Supervision of the local warehouse and transport planning team
  • Ensuring compliance with all legal and corporate standards concerning transport and warehouse (especially dangerous goods)
  • Driving initiatives to keep logistics cost on an optimum level while reaching end customer service level targets
  • Cooperating with other departments such as Production, Customer Service, Supply Planning, Quality, etc.
  • Maintaining strong work relationships with the logistics service providers
  • Initiating and supporting logistics projects and audits

Who we are looking for

  • A motivated candidate with a degree in Logistics & Supply Chain Management and appropriate working experience
  • Good understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes
  • Excellent analytical skills Strong interpersonal skills and a problem solving attitude
  • Team player
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (especially MS Excel), SAP/WMS experience
  • Fluentin Dutch and English
