The Strategic Business Unit Consumers, Craftsmen and Building Adhesives (AC) provides high quality solutions for adhesives, sealants and functional coatings to a wide target group ranging from consumers to professional craftsmen, and markets a wide range of brand name products, like Perfax, Pritt, Pattex, Loctite and Rubson. We are currently seeking a qualified individual, who will bee responsible for target achievement as well as managing and developing excellent relationship with our customers.
What we offer
Responsibility over key accounts on HQ level in the DIY sector to realize targets on turnover, profit, market share and distribution
Day-to-day business management and follow-up
Presenting and following-up different promotions for your customers, both on HQ level as well as sales rounds for field, including developing tailor-made promotions
In charge of account and promotion planning and evaluation, optimizing the assortment (analysis, making proposals, implementation), category management projects, cash chase management, account profitability, pricing, (long-term) quotation, negotiating, contract management, sales forecasting and management of the relationship with the customer at various levels and disciplines
Gather, summarize and analyze market information (GfK), client data, customer insights, business performance/position to understand growth proposals, process this data into useful information and arguments and prepare recommendations for activity improvement
Identify growth potentials and ongoing search for business opportunities
Regularly meet with all decision makers at customer (buyer, marketing, logistics...) and perform store visits to look for potentials and define action steps
Cooperate with colleagues from various departments like Marketing, Trade Marketing,
Customer Operations, Cash collection, Legal, etc.
Who we are looking for
Master or University degree in Economics, Business Administration or Marketing
3 to 5 years of experience in a Sales and/or Marketing environment, of which 2-3 years in KAM role
Good knowledge of Category Management and Trade marketing
Experience in retail, DIY or FMCG sector preferred
Strong focus on performance and results
Strong convincing and presentation skills
Think in terms of solutions and feel full responsibility for the outcome of your job
Good analytical skills and an increased sense for facts and figures
Able to deal with complex assortment: different brands, high amount of SKUs, different market positions (Perfax = dominant; Pattex = challenger)
Strong personality who is able to convert ideas into concrete actions and results
Creative, enthusiastic, pro-active personality
Pragmatic, can do mentality, independent and persistent
Excellent at starting and maintaining business contacts
Mother tongue Dutch or French; good working knowledge of Dutch, French and English, both in writing and conversation.
Very good computer literacy (advanced user of Power Point and Excel)
Driver license – B category
